President
The role of the President is to oversee the
business of running the section through the coordination of the Executive
Officers and select Committees.
I will be focusing my efforts on several specific goals:

Update and improve the website

Improve the diversity of the local area programs

Increase the involvement of the student chapters
-
Expand our volunteer base.
I will also be
continuing to support the excellent programs and events that are ongoing,
such as our SimCap initiative, Recognition and Awards, Newsletter and
Scholarship programs. Given the
economic climate, the section will also be focusing on keeping event costs
as low as possible through support from the Section and District level.
