Western Area Programming Chair
2009 Goals:
- I would like to start holding more frequent Western Area meetings, with the ultimate intention of holding bi-monthly meetings.

We are also going to form a Western Area Programs
Committee, not only to bring more ideas for Western Area meetings to the
table, but to provide a resource to determine appeal of an interest in
potential topics for Western Area meetings.

I would also like to start holding some events outside
of the standard lunch/dinner technical sessions. One idea that was
brought up last year and is a priority for an event for 2009 is a bowling
outing.

Finally, we have been lucky to have a core group of
dedicated Western Area members who have been involved in planning ITE events
for many, many years. I intend to make a concentrated effort to
encourage more participation from younger members within the Western Area.
