Headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, H2 provides transportation services including highway design, ADA curb ramp design and Right-of-Way acquisition services.
H2 Engineering Services, Inc. is looking for a qualified and motivated highway engineer with PennDOT experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and coordinate highway design projects.
- Design, review and inspect ADA curb ramps.
- Perform engineering calculations/layouts.
- Coordinate and prepare construction drawings.
- Assist with business development activities and proposal preparation.
- Assist with construction consultation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- EIT minimum, Registered Professional Engineer preferred
- 5-10 years experience in Highway/Transportation Projects
- PennDOT experience required
- ADA curb ramp design experience a plus
- Proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads

Job Description: Transportation planner
- Conduct traffic counts and inventory highway characteristics under the Federal Highway Performance Monitoring System program
- Develop annual report on traffic trends
- Collect, organize and maintain of data for use in transportation planning
- Evaluate environmental impacts of proposed transportation projects
- Other transportation projects as needed
Qualifications: B.S. in Transportation Planning or Engineering desired; experience compatible with basic job description stated above a plus.

Traffic Engineer
Trans Associates, a traffic and transportation engineering consulting firm, is seeking candidates to fill a full-time Traffic Engineer position in its Pittsburgh office in Robinson Township. Candidates should have:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering,
- 2-5 years of experience,
- knowledge of HCS and Synchro,
- knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation and other traffic engineering software a plus,
- excellent communication skills,
- E.I.T. or P.E. preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Traffic engineering analysis and simulation including use of traffic engineering software programs such as Synchro and HCS.
- Assigning and supervising traffic collection duties to technicians.
