Overview

The ITE Mid-Atlantic Section (MASITE) has been serving Transportation Engineers and Planners in Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware, and West Virginia for many years. We have facilitated and hosted various professional events to exchange ideas and create synergy within the field. We have shown our commitment to the student community by making all of our events/meetings low cost to students to encourage interaction between the student community and transportation industry professionals. MASITE also organizes events such as resume workshops, career counseling, mentoring and presentation opportunities at various university campuses to engage the students. Many members of our Board of Directors were activity involved in their respective student chapters.

Continuing with our involvement and encouragement of the student community, this scholarship is intended to provide financial support to students who have demonstrated an interest in a future career in the transportation sector. MASITE will award up to three (3) scholarships for $2,500 each.
